Model shoots always lead to some pretty amazing locations. This winter we had this incredible looking guy to work with. Not only is he a college student, but also a model and actor and has an insane sense of style. And, can we talk about the hair?!?! GORGEOUS!!!!! He was home from Arizona for a few weeks, so we took advantage of the snow and graffiti vibes. The results are amazing!

When it comes to styling seniors our style team goes to great lengths to match up settings and wardrobe preferences. The goal is to design a shoot that meets our seniors needs and creates the images they dream of. We do not limit wardrobe or locations so there are endless possibilities to customize a shoot that captures this milestone in creative ways. No two sessions are alike and we take pride in our ability to pull off a vision. Katelyn dreamed of tall grassy Meadows, natural water setting and to embrace her style with several wardrobe changes. We loved all her ideas and decided to head to a spot that was not so simple to get to, but oh SO WORTH IT. We found some hidden gems but the real gem was those stunning eyes of hers! This beauty was such a pleasure to photograph! Lily has a great sense of style and a big, bubbly personality to match! After she finishes her senior year at South Western High School, Lily is moving on to study Meteorology at Ohio State University. We are so honored to have her as one of our Loft Senior Spokes Models and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
We had a great time working with Hannah and planning out her styled senior session. Fields, a farmhouse and stonework were on the order for this one and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The stunning miss Hannah decided she wanted the best of both worlds for her Senior Session. She picked the gorgeous sunflower field at Gray Apple Market and also wanted some Downtown York City vibes as well!

The golden sun wasn't the only thing shinin on this gorgeous evening- Senior, Ella beaming smile was! Gosh this girl is just so sweet and sprinkles kindness around like confetti. Our styles meshed so well with her location pick. She specifically requested Gray Apple Market in York PA and it did not disappoint. From the adorable store front to the amazing landscape, posing options were abound! Sunflower fields in full bloom made a perfect backdrop
We had fun bopping in and out of these rolling rows capturing those natural laughs and those flashes of real smiles amongst the blossoms. Wardrobe was easy, she knows her style well and we love it. Ella even has her own online consignment shop she started!

Our 2020 Seniors participated in a spunky, retro styled shoot. Featuring elements from Downtown York, including the infamous murals, while bringing back popular styles from past decades. Our girls had so much fun dressing and preparing for this shoot, hair and makeup is always a blast too!

Yep we pick the best spots to fit your style! Whether it's a lake sessions, beach sessions, flower fields, in studio, a library or your favorite coffee shop, we are having a blast. The beach was gorgeous the city was fun and so was this Senior, Lizzie and she had rave reviews of her session!

What makes a perfect backdrop? Well nature sings for this beautiful senior session and granted her wish and captured exactly what she wanted. With such a stunning young lady anything looks gorgeous, but what a creative concept, We love this idea! We are very excited to see what other seniors bring to the table for their personal photoshoots.

Although not new to downtown, York pa. We can officially announce Mudpies N Butterflies is calling it home to our newly redesigned warehouse style studio in the WeCo district of our beloved city. We are able to embrace the culture of the Art district, the history of the heritage rail trail, the beauty of foundry park and surrounding architecture as well as indulge in our favorite fair from local food and beverage vendors. Turning this early 1900 Iron casting warehouse into a space we can use for events, teaching and styling gorgeous sessions has been a labor of love and we are ready to share it with you.
We are keeping our comfy spacious newborn suite in Dover Pa, and our amazing natural light studio boasting 18 floor to ceiling windows and glass ceiling in Southern York County. THE LOFT is an addition of an edgy space and is just what we needed to grow our creativity and we are looking forward to even more boudoirs, events, seniors, sports and commercial sessions to go down there.

So .. Whats the "F" s you ask? First Friday February, that's WHAT!!! This project had been a labor of love for two years and we are ready to share with you all.... that our Grand Opening of a third location is slated for First Friday in February! Yes, we have been in Cherry Lane at Central Market in York City for three years so although not new to downtown we now have our own building WITH a parking lot in downtown York, Pa!!
We are feeling so blessed! In addition to our lovely and cozy studio in Dover that is complete with a newborn suite, and this past Summers addition of our Leader Heights Natural light studio location ....we now have a gorgeous Warehouse downtown! Yep, we are right in the heart of charming downtown with the heritage trail, Foundry park, art district and more all walking distance! We will be able to service our more mature clients in a way that fits even more styles perfectly! High School Seniors, Families, Athletes, host Boudior sessions and more.
We love supporting other artist in the area and have worked side by side (and are friends with) the majority of the top photographers in York so we are pleased to announce that this space is a mixed use creative venue that will host a variety of classes, workshops, shootouts and events and we can't wait to collaborate and continue to - Serve. love.Capture
