A Citrus Session with my "Main Squeeze"

We are all mamas at the Mudpies N’ Butterflies Studios, and of course, have millions of ideas of images to create with our own children. While we have high hopes, you can imagine how it goes, we never get it all accomplished. One of our visions was to create a simple yet sweet citrus bath session with our newest addition, my “main squeeze.” Grapefruits, oranges, and lemons combined with this little one’s squishy rolls, dark, curly hair, and gummy smiles made this session beyond sweet. Grateful that my fellow photographer mamas made me snuggle in the tub with her for a few (we so often forget to get anything other than selfies with us in it). Milk Bath Sessions for the Babies return for Spring

How adorable!  We have some adorable options for these , fruit , florals, even milk and cookie or cereal bath for the baby boys! Indoor or outdoor options. Due to the set up, clean up ,and playtime involved,  these sessions are booked separate and not combined with other sessions to get the most out of your experience.  Our beautiful maternity bump milk baths are offered year round now starting next month! But these little petites for the babes (age two and under)  and our mini claw foot tub are just too cute!!

Let Them Be Little

Summer is over but that doesn’t mean the memories have to end! We plan to continue our “Let Them Be Little“ Summer series starting Spring of 2019 with fresh new ideas and fun for the entire family to join in! We don’t ever want our parents experiencing stressful shoots and besides, who wants to chase toddlers and get all sweaty with your makeup melting and hair frizzing?!?! ..LET US DO THE WORK AND LET THEM BE LITTLE! We have captured so many adorable kiddos naturally at play with our Summer Petite sessions. Here is a flashback of a few of our favorites! We wish we could share them all because their smiles were as big as their imaginations and our hearts melted.

Summer sunflowers

We had a blast shooting our sunflower sessions this year! Every year we have a gracious local farmer who plants sunflower fields just for our private use, but due to the bad weather, the crops didn't flourish as we hoped. Gray Apple Market saved the day by allowing us to use their beautiful sunflower gardens and market, too! Be sure to check them out for all of your Fall and farmhouse decor!  Here's a sneak peek of a few families we were blessed to capture portraits of. We look forward to a bumper crop next year and more sunflower sessions!

Our littlest contest winner

Our bump contest winner, Mikaela, and her husband, recently brought their precious little girl, Evie, in to the studio for her own session outside of mommy's belly! We were in love! We cannot wait to watch her grow and to capture each precious milestone. Check out a sneak peek from her session!

We were in love the minute these tiny triplets came in to our studio! Photographing multiples is one of our specialties. We have years of experience and adore each and every sessions with all of these sweet little babes! Check out a sneak peek of this little gal and her protectors!
